Is it possible to do one thing every day for the cause of life? Is it possible to do one thing every week or every other week or every month? One thing every day seems like an insurmountable task unless the cause of life is an integral part of your job, and in my case, it isn't. Regardless, I am going to attempt to do one thing every day for as long as I can for the cause of life. My goal is to do so for one year. I am not a particularly disciplined person which causes me to cringe at the thought of the discipline that will be required.
My ultimate objective in this is to give average people like me the knowledge that doing one thing every day, or every week, or every month for the cause of life is achievable. The thought that a large number of people might do 365, 52 or even12 concrete things during the next year is encouraging. I hope that the readers of this blog might be encouraged to attempt something similar and might record their activities in the comment section of this blog to encourage others.
At this point today, I have written a comment on a website where a pro-life video is posted. Here is the video:
Here is my comment:
We may have aborted the man or woman who would have been the first African-American president. Obama might have been the second. The most dangerous place in the world for an African-American may just be in her mother's womb.
*Nearly half of black pregnancies end in abortion.
*Three in five black women will abort a child.
*1,500 black Americans are aborted every day.
*America's black population has been reduced by roughly one-third because of abortion.
Will these facts change the decisions in the White House? No. Political considerations trump the hard facts that substantiate the genocide that is hidden behind the doors of our abortion industry. We must change hearts, save the unborn, help the mothers, help the families, and instill a life affirming ethos in the people of this nation.

Today, I have also forwarded a letter to our church Life Team leader and youth pastor concerning fund raising for the Run and Walk for Life to take place on May 30. The fund raising will support the Pregnancy Resource Center here in St. Louis (Thrive-St. Louis).
Today is the anniversary of Roe vs Wade. I pray that next year the outlook for the cause of life will be better than it is this year. Always remember that God is sovereign and his will shall ultimately be done.
